Jen -- how can you have a fraction of a ration of an outfit?

How many different outfits can she wear?

17 different outfits?
Answered by Ms. Sue
No.

I suggest you draw this problem. Draw 8 tops, 4 skirts, and 5 pairs of shoes.

She can wear each of the tops with each of the skirts and each pair of shoes.
