since slopes must be negative reciprocals of each other, the new equation must be
y = -3x + b
(looks like C is the only choice but it is mis-typed.)
but (7,-2) lies on it , so
-2 = -3(7) + b
b = 19
y = -3x + 19
y = -3x + b
(looks like C is the only choice but it is mis-typed.)
but (7,-2) lies on it , so
-2 = -3(7) + b
b = 19
y = -3x + 19
