5x+6y=3 Multiply both sides with -2

-10x-12y= -6

-10x+12y= -6

+

10x+12y=12

(-10x+10x)+(-12y+12y)= -6+6

0+0=0

0=0

This is called an "inconsistent" system of equations, and it has no solution.
