Psychologists are not physicans, so they cannot assist when legal. Neither can bookeepers, automechnics, and economists.

So what legal and ethical issues can they have, unless they are the party wanting to die? Why would a party contemplating suicide worry about legal or ethical issues?

So, I am not certain what your question is.
