With a single pulley you can get a mechanical advantage of 2, no more
However with a plane you can lift any mass with force approaching zero if the incline angle is small enough.

So the pulley has more mechanical advantage and the incline has more efficiency?

normally, the incline will not be frictionless, and the losses with friction will be greater than that of a pulley
