This is a question for "The Diary of a Young Girl" by Anne Frank, and the answer is supposedly found on pages 1-43

Well, I have searched the internet and computer and continue to do so, but I think it has something to do with them moving to the hiding place finally and then her mother starts yelling to her father about Anne and Anne starts yelling to her mother and it all becomes just a big mess.

You need to read more carefully. You haven't answered the question about why the relationship became strained.

Try this.

Is it the war, capulation, arrival of the Germans, and Jewish suffering beginning that began to strain their relationship?
