A 2 kg particle has a velocity of (2i-3j) m/s and a 3kg particle has a velocity of (1i+6j)m/s.Find (a) the velocity of the center of mass(b) the total momentum of the system

(a) CM velocity = (M1V1 + M2V2)/(M1 + M2)
where V1 and V2 are vectors.
= [2*(2i - 3j) + 3*(i + 6j)]/5
= [7i -12j]/5

(b) Total momentum
= Total mass * CM velocity
= 7i - 12j
