Eq1: 1.6X + 2Y = -2.

Eq2: 4x + y = 1.

Solve for y in Eq1:
4X + Y = 1,
Y = -4X + 1.
Substitute -4X+1 for Y in Eq1:
1.6X + 2(-4X + 1) = -2,
1.6X -8X + 2 = -2,
-6.4X = -4,
X = 0.625.

In Eq2, substitute 0.625 for X:
4*0.625 + Y = 1,
2.5 + Y = 1,
Y = 1 - 2.5 = -1.5.

Solution set = (X,Y) = (0.625,-1.5).
