If f(x)=3x-1 and g(x)=2/3x+2 find:
a) f(-3)+g(6)
b)f(3)-g(2)

This is simple substitution and arithmetic

It is also not clear if you mean
g(x) = (2/3)x or g(x) = 2/(3x)

I will do a) using g(x) = (2/3)x

f(-3) + g(6)
= 3(-3) +1 + (2/3)(6)
= -9+1+4
= 14

do b) the same way.
