Let N be the first (lower) integer
N - (N+1)/2 = 2
Double both sides
2N - (N+1) = 4
N -1 = 4
N = 5
The larger consecutive integer is 6.
N - (N+1)/2 = 2
Double both sides
2N - (N+1) = 4
N -1 = 4
N = 5
The larger consecutive integer is 6.
