find the integration of absolute x from -4 to 2? could anyone show me the way to get 10?

integrate x from 0 to +4 to get the absolute value when x is negative
add that to the integral from 0 to 2.
first part
4^2/2 - 0^2/2 = 8
second part
2^2/2 - 0^2/2 = 2
8+2 = 10
