Why don't you just use make up examples?
water currents, wind currents vs a vehicle path are good examples.
What about forces? Put two forces on a towed vehicle, and find resultant.
And displacement: walking north, then walking East, and finding resultant displacement.
It is much more productive to invent in our minds such things, rather than depend on copying what others have done.
