24 divide 1/2 + 5/8 * 6/7

You have to tell us where the parentheses go.

That could be either
{[24/(1/2)] + 5/8]} * (6/7), or
[24/(1/2)] + [(5/8)*(6/7)], or
24/[(1/2) + 5/8] * (6/7)
