peter bought a computer that cost 1,500. The computer is on sale for 15% off. Peter paid 7% sales tax on the sale price of the computer. How much did peter pay?
My answer would be 1,604.25 can you explain how to do the problem if it is wrong

First find the discounted price:
sale price = $1500(.85) = 1275

final cost including 7% sales tax
= 1275(1.07) = 1364.25
