Use the five steps for problem solving to answer the following question. Show all work. Andrew is having an irrigation system installed in his yard. Company A charges $1250 plus $15 per sprinkler head. Company B charges $1200 plus $17 per sprinkler head. How many sprinkler heads will Andrew need to have to make Company A a better deal?

Let x = number of sprinkler heads.

1250 + 15x = 1200 + 17x

Solve for x, then increase by one.
