so:

x = 152/14 = 76/7

check
3(76/7) -11/7 = 31, right

2(x-3y)=24 ---> x - 3y = 12
y=(3x-2 )

x - 3(3x-2) = 12
-8 x + 6 = 12
-8 x = 6
