Does this answer seem correct.

2k+3=4k-5
2k-4k+3-3=-5-3
2k-4k=-5-3
-2k/-2k = -8/2
k=4

2k+3=4k-5

Let's check it by substituting 4 for k.

(2 * 4) + 3 = (4 * 4) - 5
8 + 3 = 16 - 5
