A 70 ohm resistor is connected to a 6.7 V
battery in the circuit below.When the switch is closed, calculate the
current I.
Answer in units of A.

recall that I = V/R
where
I = current (in Amperes)
V = voltage (in Volts)
R = resistance (in Ohms)
substituting,
I = 6.7/70
I = 0.0957 A
