Is that supposed to be the ratio of two fractions?
(13/18)/(20/27) ?
That would be
(13/18)*(27/20) = (3/2)*(13/20) = 39/40
(13/18)/(20/27) ?
That would be
(13/18)*(27/20) = (3/2)*(13/20) = 39/40

do you mean,
13/18 divided by 20/27 ?
if so, then we first get the reciprocal of the divisor (the second term; that is, 20/27) ,, thus its reciprocal is 27/20 (note that reciprocal is just interchanging the numerator and denominator)
now the process becomes multiplication. to multiply fractions, we multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator:
13/18 * 27/20 = (13*27)/(18*20) = 351/360 = 39/40
hope this helps~ :)
