i really need help in math. im just in 6 grader and i don't understand this'

24x - 10 = 18x - 4

24x - 10 = 18x - 4

Subtract 18x from both sides of the equation.

24x - 18x - 10 = -4

Add 10 to both sides of the equation.

6x = 10 - 4
6x = 6

Divide both sides by 6.

x = 1
