A) what is the probability of selecting a value between 39 and 46

B)what value will allow only 15% of the data to be greater than it

Z = (score-mean)/SD

A) After calculating the Z scores, find table in the back of your statistics text labeled something like "areas under normal distribution" to find the related proportion.

B) Using same table, find Z score for that percentage. Use it to calculate score.
