Why are there two equals signs in the first line? Is there a typo error?

Why do you have three separate equations? They have different answers.

Surely you can finsih each, and solve for x.

-6x-11x=-136

-17x=136 Divide with -17

x= -8

6.4x-2.3x=-65.6

4.1x=65.6 Divide with 4.1

x=16
