Was Eisenhower right to request that Great Britian, France, and Israel end their attack on Egypt during the Suez crisis?

"right"? Isn't that a subjective, personal response to what you see as history?

Personally, Israel was the only country that had vital interests at stake, and they won those rights of passage. But Eisenhower being "right"? Who knows.
