The Vashi family has a 20-gallon aquarium that is only 3/4 full. The family uses a 2-quart pitcher to add water to the aquarium. How many times will the Vashis have to fill and empty the pitcher to completely refill the aquarium?

3/4 full is the same as saying the aqarium is initially at 15 gallons of water.there are 4 quarts in 1 gallon. To fill the aquarium up will take 5 more gallons! 2quart pitcher times 5 equals 10 times will the Vashis have to fill the aquarium with a 2 quart pitcher. So 10 is the answer!
