Question

a glider of length 10.00 cm slides down an air track. It passes through the lower photogate in .50 sec. A little later it passes through the lower photogate 100.00 cm down the track, in .25 sec. Calculate initial velocity, final velocity, and acceleration. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Answers

Fol
Init vel = 10 cm / 0.5 sec = 20 cm/sec = 0.20 m/s

final vel = 10 cm / 0.25 s = 40 cm/sec = 0.40m/s

now v final2 = vinit2 + 2 a d
