como se llama el gas que se desprende de mezclar acido acetico con vinagre?

I tried looking up some of the words and I obtained "what do you call the gas that is given off the mixture of acetic acid with vinegar?" but that didn't make sense to me.

Since vinegar is partly acetic acid, the question was probably incorrectly stated. Perhaps the other ingredient was supposed to be sodium bicarbonate. In that case the gas given off would be carbon dioxide.

Thanks. I thought of that; however, I figured my Spanish was too poor for me to question the post.:-). And I didn't know how to answer in Spanish, anyway. I guess I could have written CO2.
