Chinese people celebrate new year in the first new moon of Febraury,it changes every year, it takes two weeks, from the new moon to the full moon, people wear red clothes in new year, they bring good luck in the future. They decorate their houses with colorful flowers and oranges, the oranges bring hapiness. They usually meet with their relatives in new year. They open doors and windows at midnigth to alow the old year go out. The used to count years with a simple and practical system, they named the years with animals, it is better because people don´t have to remember their ages, for example they colud say: I was born in the year of the dog.
