Average velocity = (Displacement)/Time
Let R = radius and v = speed.
Displacement = sqrt2*R, in a direction from the first point to the last.
Time = (pi/2)*R/v
Vav = 2 v sqrt2/pi = 0.900 v
with the direction described above
