Volume of cylinder, 1256 m³
= πd²h/4
h=13, π=3.14159, solve for d.

d² is the same as d*d, or d multiplied by itself.
so
πd²h/4=1256
multiply by 4 on each side,
πd²h = 5024
divide by πh on each side:
d²=5024/(13π)=123
d=√(123)=11 metres.
