Can you please tell me how I go about working out the answer to this question?

A sprinter has to run a race over 100 feet (ft). How many metres is this? (Hint: You may need to use two conversion factors for this problem)

1 foot = 0.3048 meters
100 = ? meters
That is how I would have done it but the hint makes me think I should be taking a different approach.
