Question

As a young child, she did not receive many things that are now taken for granted by current generations of children.

Is the grammar in this sentence correct?

Should it be phrased differently?

Thanks for the help!

I would remove "now" and "current generations of children" and insert "today's children" in there. It's a bit wordy as it reads now.
