Describe, in detail, how to make 5.5 liters of a 2.5 molar HCl solution from a 10.5 molar HCl stock solution.

The USUAL way is to measure the amount of HCl calculated above to a 5.5 L volumetric flask, then make to the mark with distilled water. However, as far as I know, 5.5 L volumetric flasks don't exist so it may take some ingenuity. I would solve this problem by adding the calculated amount of HCl to a 500 mL (0.500L) volumetric flask and making to the mark with distilled water. Shake thoroughly and quantitatively transfer the contents of the 500 mL flask to a 5.00 L volumetric flask, then make to the mark in the 5.00 L flask with distilled water.
