What is the minimum speed a 3,200 pound car can have on a flat road when going around a curve with a radius of 300ft. Take the static coefficient of friction to be 0.8.

centripetal force must equal friction force.

solve for r.
Now I have to tell you working this is Common English units is tricky, here m divide out, so you are left with g(32ft/sec^2), so v will be in ft/sec
