A - starts with - 9 and add 5 repeatedly
B - starts with 5 and add 9 repeatedly
C - starts with 5 and subtract - 9 repeatedly
D - starts with 5 and add - 9 repeatedly

if you add 9 to 5, do you get a negative number?
Calculate the difference between 5 and -4; -4 and -13; -13 and -22 you will see the pattern. How to find the difference between two numbers?... you subtract them: for example, the difference b/w 2 and 7: 7-2=5; 14 and 6: 14 - 6= 8; -5 and -17: (-5) - (-17)=12. Hope this help
