You must have some idea how to do this. When you posted "I need to show my work" I naturally assumed you actually had done some work, but got stuck.
This should get you started:
5 3/4 = 5 + 3/4
6 2/4 = 6 + 2/4
so, add it all up:
5+6 + 3/4 + 2/4
Can you take it from there? If not, you have some serious catching up to do. If so, but you can't arrive at a solution, show where you get stuck. Then we can use your work to proceed.

Not sure why you wound up with 10/8 instead of just 5/4, but even so, all you have left to do is to convert the improper fraction into a mixed number and add it in.
11 + 10/8
11 + 5/4
11 + 1 + 1/4
12 1/4
11 + 10/8
11 + 5/4
