a teaher chooses a student at random from a class of 10 boys and 15 girls. Find the odds favor of and for the odds against each event.

i don't understand odds of something please help.........

Odds are the same as probability.
The probability of a single event is what you want to happen over all possibilities.
All possibilities = total number of students 10+15=25
Odds of choosing a girl 15/25=3/5
Odds of choosing a boy 10/25=2/5
