solve by using the quadratic formula:
x2 plus x minus 2 equal 0

I know the formula is a=1 b=1 c=2

I'm having trouble solving...please help.

x^2 + x - 2 = 0
a = 1, b = 1, c = -2 are the variables.

The formula is "the opposite of b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac all over 2a."
