I like A. The kid adapts to understanding she wont get time out if she does not engage in bad behaviour.

well i agree now after going over the question again i have to agree with bobpursley with a because if the child is shown that she doesn't do bad things then she wont get time out it is like showing her do this and i wont get punuished.... postive

I'd argue it's a trick question since I don't think "time out" can ever be properly executed.
