Can anyone help me out with the differences between electron geometry and molecular geometry for SCl6?
I think the molecular geometry is octahedral, but I'm not so sure for the electron geometry. Thanks :)

The molecular geometry is octahedral and you are correct. If you draw the Lewis structure, you will see it has no unpaired electrons on the central atom(S); therefore, the electronic geometry is octahedral, also.
