Not sure if I have the correct answer dealing with inequalities and not having equal signs.

so the problem is 3x+4>9x+2

I came up with 2/6>x?

not sure so this why I'm asking

3x-9x > 2-4
-6x > -2
x < 1/3

Your answer is right, but your fraction should be reduced.
Also, it is more common to have the x's on the left for equations and inequations.
