a satellite can be launched into orbit through use of a specialized cannon that measured 18.0 meters in length. what would the average acceleration through this cannon have to be in order to have a muzzle velocity of 29000 km/h ?

V = sqrt(2 a X)

a = V^2/(2X)= 1.8*10^6 m/s^2
-- more than 10^5 g's.

It seems unrealistically high.
