1)It’s two years since I last saw him (OR I saw him last?)
How long is it since you last saw him?
2) I last (is last placed between subject and verb?) saw him two years ago.
3) How long ago did you last see him?
I haven’t been here for a long time. (= It’s a long time since I last was here)
4) I haven’t been here (for) long. =(I arrived a short time ago; I haven been here for a short time)
I’ve been looking through all my sports equipment all morning (but since this morning?) but I haven’t found my swimming trunks yet.
5) I’ve been thinking about selling my old computer games for a long time, but I haven’t decided yet.
