need help I need to have my answer in cups:

______ ______
7 people 46 people

I did the top part right 2x46/7=13.1428
but i need to turn it into cups...13 and ___ cups.. don't know how to change the end number to cups...

The answer is 13 1/7 (or 92/7) , and is already in units of cups.

It could also be written 6/7 gallon.
(One gallon = 16 cups)

91/7 is 13.
92/7 is 13 with 1/7 left over.

You might also recognize that, in the decimal form, 0.1428... = 1/7

0.1428 what did u do or how do u know this number is 1/7

i don't know where you got 91/7 either..can you show me how to write it on paper so i could figure it out.

92/7 = 13 remainder 1

because 13 * 7 = 91
