Let a=6+2i, b=6-2i
(x-a)(x-b)
=x²-(a+b)x+ab
a+b = 12
ab=6²-(2i)²
=36-(-4)
=40
So
(x-a)(x-b)
=x²-12x+40
(x-a)(x-b)
=x²-(a+b)x+ab
a+b = 12
ab=6²-(2i)²
=36-(-4)
=40
So
(x-a)(x-b)
=x²-12x+40
