The basic defintion of mole fraction is the fraction of molecules of solute divided by total molecules.
molecules solute (assume 1 liter solution)= avag#*3.05
masswater= 964g-3.05*molmassEthanol)
molecules water=masswater/molmasswater * avag#
mole fraction= moleculessolute/totalmolecules * 100
