plug each x into your equation and the answer for each is your range (y-value)
I'll do one
-3.8x - 4.2 for x = -3
y = -3.8(-3) - 4.2
y = 11.4 - 4.2
y = 7.2
so y = 7.2 is incl. in the range
repeat for each x value
