i do not know how to type the 9x and the little x over the 2 ( to the x power ) thank you for your help.

so you mean
9^(2x) + 9x + 2 ?

if so, ....
let 9^x = y
then your expression becomes
y^2 + y + 2

which does not factor, so the original does not factor.
