the total kg would be 85 kg. then multiply by 9.8 to find fg. to lose weight he has to have a downward acceleration ( push downwards on a countertop while standing on the scale).

Lets say that ninja gained those 5kg's of weight over the break. Then he would now weigh 85kg.
Weight is Mass multiplied by gravity.
W=Mg
85 is your mass and 9.8 is gravity on Earth.
85*9.8=833
