5 liters of water= ____ kg

liters and kg are 2 different types of measurement but 1 liter of water is 1 kg so would this make the answer then 5 kg or would it not be able to be solved since 2 different types of measures?

The density of water is approximately
1 kg litre^-1

If you want to show the conversion as an equation then you should show the units as well as:

5 litre x 1 kg litre^-1 = 5 kg

so that the equation balances in terms of number and units.
