Everyone of you has absolutely no idea how to solve this problem and you are simply adding to the questioner's confusion. If you don't know, just shut up.

180 m / 1 day
1 day = 24 hours * 60 min / hr = 1440 minutes
Substitute 1440 minutes for 1 day in the original problem and you get:
180 m / 1440 min
Reduce by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 180 and you get:
1 m / 8 min
Divide both the numerator and denominator by 8 and you get the rate:
.125 m / 1 min
Note: The way Vivian set the problem up is also correct.
